WHAT OUR CLIENT SAYS

The Center for Communication and Learning was superb at helping our son with his stuttering. We saw a significant improvement during the course of his treatment. I would wholeheartedly recommend the center for any child with special needs.
Parent of 4 year old
The Center for Communication and Learning has been instrumental in the continued progress of my seven year old son. The staff is wonderful and nurturing; the group classes are run with the students in mind; tailored to their likes and interests which promotes healthier and exciting communication in a group of children who are there to learn this exact process. I am thrilled to have found this center and staff and my family, especially my son, will be forever grateful.
Parent of 7 year old
My son went from being resistant toward pretend play and now asks to play all the time.
Parent of 4 year old
This program has given my child the confidence to speak and share his ideas in a small group. It has also transferred to the school setting.
Parent of 5 year old
I have noticed a big change in A’s attitude in social situations. He is much more comfortable navigating social situations and just seems more comfortable in his own skin. He really looked forward to coming every week.
Parent of 5 year old
Our six-year-old continues to thrive in the social groups he has had with Samantha, Randi, and Sue, and he had a great one-on-one experience with Samantha which resulted in her gathering important information to help us get beneficial accommodations in place for him at school. He is excited each week to go, and we have seen improvements both at home and at school as a result. The CCL team has also given us useful vocabulary and approaches to better understand and support our son.
Parent of 6 year old
We are incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done over the years. Your dedication and expertise have made a world of difference in his progress, and we can’t thank you enough for your hard work and support. The progress he’s made with apraxia is a testament to your skill and commitment, and we feel confident moving forward because of the strong foundation you’ve helped us build.

Randi you have been great the past few weeks (I’m your witness)! He bonds with you incredibly well and you keep him excited the whole time. It’s fun to watch how you do it – the games along the way that you do really do get him wanting to stay another hour and not come home!

We are incredibly grateful for the progress our 2-year-old son has made with Cara. She quickly built a connection with him, making each session fun and effective. Her encouragement has been invaluable, not just for our son but for us as parents. Cara provided us with essential coaching and the confidence to support his development at home, even with the unique challenges of raising a bilingual child. We highly recommend Cara and CCL to any parent looking for a skilled and caring speech therapist who values family involvement.
Parent of 2 year old
We have been working with Randi for several years, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! She has a level of intuition and ability to connect with her clients that I have never seen in any other provider. As my son grows and expands his experiences in the “real world", I often see him drawing on the progress that he has achieved with Randi to navigate new situations with growing confidence. Not only has Randi taught him the language and social skills he needs, but she has tied in a multitude other life skills that are impossible to quantify.
Allyson McMahon
Our son’s therapy at The Center For Communication and Learning plays a vital role in his social skills development. The progress he has made in using pragmatic language has been astounding. And he has so much fun!
Parent of 8 year old
Our son has been part of CCL’s social skills groups for almost 5 years. He loves going to group every week and we are so impressed with the progress he has made. Each semester, Samantha and Mandy have created individualized goals for him and have kept us informed of his progress. We have seen his social interactions and conversation skills blossom. We are so grateful to Samantha, Mandy and the whole CCL team!
Parent of 15 year old
CCL is a wonderful place that has helped our child develop social and conversational skills. We are a longtime family of seven years with CCL because of the continued growth and learning we have seen in our son. Ms. Randi and Ms. Samantha are two of the most passionate teachers who truly understand neurodiverse children. I highly recommend this facility.
